Today's QuestGarden featured webquest is a bit off the beaten path, and may have a few "out of the box" ideas for your classroom heading into the new school year. TITLE: The 21st Century Classroom: Using Wikis AUTHOR: Theresa Gray LINK: Link to Using Wikis Webquest This webquest is all about teachers learning a new classroom technology skill: In this WebQuest, you will take on the role of learner and investigate the use of one technology, Wikis, in the classroom. (The word wiki is a shortened form of the Hawaiian wiki-wiki which means "quick.") At the end, you will participate in editing a wiki that has been created for you on this topic.
